Carved Green Crystal Chinese mounted urn lamp. This Chinese carved green crystal urn with cover is mounted on a custom carved rosewood stand with green Jade base. Wired as a lamp and quality mounted in the early 1900's. Custom selected and trimmed shade. Lamp overall measurements are 22 inches high. The vase and base measure 12 inches high.

Chinese Buddhist Stelle stone carving A. D. 557-581. The work of the Northern Chou dynasty which dominated the North China West of the Yellow River between A. D. 557-581 This is based on the columns and on the treatment of the curtain above which indicates western influences. The Northern Chou people were in close contact with the peoples of Central Asia.We have a letter dated October 17 1962 from John A Pope Director of the Freer Gallery of Art at the Smithsonian Institution addressed to our consignor explaining he had talked to the then Leading authority on Chinese sculpture, Professor Osvald Siren about this piece. Professor Osvald Siren gave the above description of this Chinese sculpture. All letters are available to the purchaser of the sculpture. This carving measures 21 inches tall,13 inches wide and 6 and one half inches thick.

Chinese mid to late 19th century cloisonne incense burner. This monumental Chinese temple form incense burner measures 70 inches tall and 32 inches wide with a 16 inch center. It is in excellent original condition. This impressive incense burner features a fanciful double tier pagoda top and dragon screen windows. Truly extraordinary. Just in from a New England estate. Chinese Kossu panel in frame c1880. A very fine Chinese Kossu panel (splitweave technique with gold thread) from the late 1800's, mounted under glass in a custom frame measuring 44 inches wide by 7 feet high and 2 and one half inches thick. The panel was difficult to photograph under the glass, so please excuse the reflection made by the track lighting in the gallery ceiling, which appears to be wrinkles in the silk. The silk is not wrinkled.

Antique Chinese day bed. Mahogany with woven wicker. This Chinese day bed dates from the late 17th century, the late 1800's. Classic Chinese form. The neck roll, or head rest, is original. The daybed is in excellent condition. It measures 27 inches deep, 68 inches long and 19 and one half inches high. It would be particularly handsome in a large foyer beneath a grand staircase.
