Antique Japanese Lacquer Inro and Ivory Netsuke

Antique Japanese Lacquer Inro and Ivory Netsuke. This 18th to 19th century "Antique Japanese Inro" measures 3 and three quarters inches long by 2 and three eighths inches wide and is three quarters of an inch thick. This antique inro was made by Inagawa 1750 to 1850. Reference: Dictionary of Japanese Artists, page 54. This is a five section, lacquer inro with an all-over chrysanthemum design, minutely detailed, with a signature on the bottom. Excellent condition with gentle natural wear on high spots.

Antique Chinese Oriental 6 Panel Screen with mother of pearl and ivory. Chinese screen,Antique Chinese Oriental 6 Panel Screen with soap stone,This antique "Chinese Coromandel Screen" measures 72 inches high with six panels that are 16 inches each. This black lacquer Chinese "Coromandel"screen has birds and flowers painted on its reverse and figures that are carved from different colors of ivory and mother of pearl on its front that are reading scrolls and playing go. The back of this wonderful screen is hand painted show birds,flowers and branches. As beautiful as this screen looks in the pictures it is even more important looking in person. This antique screen dates from the 1860 to 1880 period. The condition is very good with just some lacquer and ivory loss. Just in from a local estate

Antique Syrian Inlaid Wood Table. This antique Syrian table measures 24 inches high and is 20 inches in diameter. This "Syrian table" is inlaid all over with ivory and ebony in a tight flower and vine pattern. This table dates from the mid to late 19th century is is extremely well executed. Some minor loss here and there which is to be expect from a table of this period and detail.

Antique Hand Carved Chinese Serpent Chair. "Chinese Serpent Chair" This antique carved serpent chair measures 28 inches at the widest point, the bow in the legs. This antique Chinese chair measures 27 and three quarter inches high to the arm. The seat back measures 19 and one half inches high. The seat measures 16 inches to the back and 18 inches wide inside of the arms. This chair measures 16 and three quarter inches high to the seat top. The chair measures 22 and three quarter inches deep overall and the overall height is 35 and one half inches high. Late 19th Century.
